My dearest Phil, You were larger than life my friend. I can't remember our exact meeting some 20 plus years ago but it seemed like we knew each other forever. It began by me selling you films and that was it. We were friends for life. I imagine that is how it was for so many of us who were blessed to have been chosen by you as your friend. I read the other comments on here and saw the theme, you were a good friend, always available to listen and give advice. Memories, there are so so many! Many involve Ms. Nikki Parker my partner in crime. In fact now I remember, I knew you first as a business colleague and then somehow Nikki's name came up and when we both realized we had that connection a deeper friendship began. The usual dinner at Mip and Mipcom "The breakfast Club" was the highlight of the market for me. Nikki, Ron, John, Sam and whoever else joined us for a night of gut splitting laughter. We never wanted the nights to end. I remember one AFM, I don't remember which one of my girlfriends was with me, but we went to Ron's room and played Hide and Go Seek the four of us. Always laughter... You were always up for fun! You visited me in LA, dinners in London, I came with Nikki to your village where you had your shop, saw your beautiful farm. You were a born salesman. To watch you work with the customers that came in, you made everyone feel special. The twinkle in your eyes, the mischievous smile, how you lit up when you talked about Georgie, your laughter, your caring, your always being available when there was a problem. You my friend were forever young and now will stay in our hearts and mind as Forever Young. Peace and Love You will be missed! PS I finally got to see your son on-line at your funeral, what a fine young man you raised, no wonder you were so terribly proud of him. Much Love, your LA buddy, Meggan

You supported me when my lads were little ,you got me a laptop for my college course , you gave me a job in one for your shops and you took us to the seaside where we had so much fun at the fair , we went on adventures to London buying stock for the shop and travelled before sunset to sell charm bracelets in posh shopping centres 🤣 not forgetting the t-shirts we printed :) One year you made it possible for me to give the boys the best Christmas. I am so Thankful Phil for everything , you was a true gentlemen . Sleep easy mate xxxxx

I am truly heartbroken by your passing, Phil. This world has lost one of it’s true gentlemen. I am so proud to have known you as my friend…..you helped me through so many problems, never asking for anything in return for your wisdom and advice. I loved our midweek catch-up dinners, and Glad Ian and I were the first ones to tempt you to 2 beers after your treatment last year! We shared so many good times over the past 24 years..”Phil & Phil, separated at birth” people used to joke, and it’s true! We shared a love of life and I thought of you as a big brother. You took my son to his first football match and taught my daughter to dive on a family holiday. You were kind, clever and funny. We will miss you so much. Sending heartfelt condolences to George and Carole, and the family. Rest well, Phil, love, Phil, Ben, Livvy & Ian xx
